Shruti – a universally identifiable basic melodious note, which, once mastered can create an elevating transcending experience, armed with this attribute of immense creative power, Ar. Shruti Rajeev Sharma is continuously and sustainable, imparting the training not only of the Bharatnatyam dance form but also of aesthetics, production values and stage presentation since last two and a half decades.
She has strong inclination towards Indian art forms since her childhood, which propelled her to pursue Indian Classical Music, Fine Arts, Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi dance forms very sincerely. Her ardent desire to explore these art forms helped her in acquiring “Prabhakar” in Hindustani music and M.A. in Bharatnatyam, as well as earning B.Arch. Degree from Marathwada University Aurangabad.
An ardent devotee of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi of Sahaj Yoga, glorious daughter of Shrimati Meena and Shri Vijay Pandey, the illustrious disciple of Nritya Shiromani Smt. Meera Pauskar for dance and Pt. Vijay Deshmukh for Indian classical music got immense support from her relatives, friends, fellow spiritual co-travelers, the parents of her students and well wishers.
She captivated the audience with the beauty and serenity of mudras of Bharatnatyam and her mellifluous voice when she represented her university at National Youth Festival.
Her talent got opportunities to be displayed at various dance programs which she has performed at various locations across the globe like Paris, Singapore, Malaysia, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune. Being a very spiritual person, she has spread message of peace, love and harmony through her dance performances.
Shruti has given shape to many meaningful and socially relevant dance dramas under the aegis of Varada Kala Sansthan, which she started in 1999 to promote the ancient, elegant and majestic dance form Bharatnatyam. Ingraining in her disciples, spirituality discipline and discernment, she has trained thousands of students in last twenty five years.

Shruti Rajeev Sharma’s incessant efforts towards promoting Indian culture and heritage through Bharatanatyam earned her many awards like felicitation by Indo Global SME Chamber, Pratibha Yuvati award, First prize in Vocal Music by Doordarshan Mumbai, Certificate of merit by NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture), Devi Ahalya Naari Gaurav Alankaran Award by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, Malav Ratna Award, Indore Gourav Samman, Devarth Award, Nayika Award by Naidunia Indore, to name a few.
